Unit 3: Character (Inventing believable, fully imagined people with our words) 
     
Due Now: Rough Draft for Packet 3: Two poems or at least two pages of fiction. This should be a document separate from your free-writes and pre-writes.     
Three new rules:

• Stay seated until the bell rings. 
• No phones. All period. Period.
• You have three hall passes for the rest of the tri.

Today's Learning Targets:

• I can use a freewrite to generate ideas.
• I can use figurative language to create a mood.
• I can work with a peer to take excellent writing and make it better.
