Late: Rough draft of two pages of fiction OR two poems OR a four-page script. Your rough draft must include dialogue.
Due Friday: Final draft of Packet 4 (Laptops are coming. If you're in the habit of waiting until past the last minute to turn in work, be aware that Mr. Carter and I will be very busy next week. We may not have time to read late work.)
Due Monday: Bring all your old freewrites and prewrites.
Today's Learning Targets:
I can use a freewrite to generate ideas.
I can write dialogue that fits a character. I can work with my peers to improve my writing.
- Un-freewrite #42: What have you learned in this class? Are you a better writer than you were 12 weeks ago?
- Prewrite #49: Passing Notes
- Drafting / Peer Conference Time
