  • Due Now: Freewrites 1-3
Today's Learning Targets:
  • I can use art to inspire my writing.
  • I can wield both hand and power tools.
  • I can share my writing with my classmates.
Agenda:
Ekphrastic Writing:
  • Step 1: Find an image you like
  • Step 2: Copy that image into a google doc.
  • Step 3: Share that google doc with me. Call the doc "Last Name Ekphrastic Writing"
  • Step 4: Use your image as the inspiration for a poem or story.
  • Step 5: As you compose and / or revise, deliberately include at least one hand tool and one power tool.
  • Step 6: Format your doc so that it is both visually appealing and easy to read.
  • Step 7: Print.
  • Step 8: On the back, copy and label your hand tool and power tool.
  • Step 9: Put your name on it and turn it in.
